Greetings!
Now that you have discovered our website, We hope you will discover us! The Wilmot Garden Club welcomes new members any time throughout the year. Membership is open to Wilmot, New Hampshire, residents as well as residents from surrounding towns. There are no dues to join our club. All we ask is that you participate in one or more of our endeavors.
If you like to be active, you can plant and maintain a town garden (we have 10), work at our Annual Plant Sale (always the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend), and/or participate in the Holiday beautification of Wilmot by making and hanging swags and wreaths throughout town in December. We also periodically host educational programs, and always have fun sprinkled into all our activities.
We are a low-key group, so dive into whatever suits your fancy.
We hope to hear from you soon.
Wilmot Garden Club
The Wilmot Garden Club is just around 100 members strong in 2026.
Each year we host at least two educational events where we invite the membership as well as the community to attend.
In May (always the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend) we host a plant sale of mostly annual plants shipped to us by Jolly Farmer in Canada. Before the Asian Jumping Worm infestation, we used to also provide perennial plants. To prevent the spread of this invasive worm, we will refrain from providing plants from our gardens until we have evidence that they are no longer a threat.
We have at least two Membership Meetings; one in Spring and one in Fall.
The Wilmot Garden Club is responsible for planting and maintaining 10 Town of Wilmot Gardens (see our Town Gardens page for a list of the gardens and pictures.
At the end of November, our membership gathers to create and hang festive swags to decorate our street signs throughout the village.
